Silvicultural Management Advice
We offer woodland catered silvicultural management advice.
These methods include thinning (ensuring this is done to the correct density), moving the woodland to a CCF (Continuous Cover Forestry) method or simply clear felling.
The method is decided upon by assessing the long and short term financial goals of the woodland owner and the future stand health.Â
Harvesting PlansÂ
As a woodland owner it is your responsibility to ensure any individual conducting forestry work on your land is aware of all the possible constraints.
In most cases a harvesting plan can be a good way of covering these, in a simple and easy to read format.Â
This plan will show all constraints, as well as potential operational requirements that might not be typical on every site.
